How-to guides
How-to guides are for people who already know Drum and need to achieve a specific goal. They assume competence and go straight to the steps.
If you are learning Drum for the first time, start with a tutorial. For facts about a screen, field, or API endpoint, use reference.

Webhooks
-
Set up a webhook: Subscribe your own endpoint to Drum events, store its secret, and build the endpoint to verify, acknowledge and deduplicate each request.
-
Verify webhook signatures: Check that a webhook request came from Drum and has not been changed, in Ruby, Python or Node.js.
-
Send a webhook from an event trigger: Use an event trigger to send a trigger.fired webhook for events that have no webhook of their own, such as an approved timesheet or a completed task.
